We are seeking skilled Systems Administrators to work in a consulting environment for a variety of clients, primarily in the biotechnology industry. You should have excellent customer service skills and a history of engaging customers in technical projects, including the ability to teach and instruct on technical concepts. It is important that you are experienced in collaborating with a larger team, supporting helpdesk activities and working in a ticketing system. You should be able to create project plans, present plans and technical ideas to small teams, and execute on plans as well as perform "on-the-fly" systems administration activities and respond to emergencies. A big plus is experience in managing other technical team members, including both other systems administrators and helpdesk team members.

Comprehensive experience in desktop support, including support of PC and Mac laptops.
Experience with administering user accounts, email, calendar, and security measures in at least one of Microsoft O365 and Google Workspace.
Knowledge of networking technologies, including switching, routing, and protocols such as DHCP and DNS.
Experience with supporting Okta, Slack, Zoom, and Box.com as well as email filtering and antivirus solutions.
Preferred, but not required: Some scripting experience, such as in powershell/batch scripts, unix shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.
You will be required to provide your own travel to client sites located mostly in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties. Most client sites are within a 20 minute drive from SFO Airport.
